PRAYER

Prayers.png

Please join us on the morning of the event, Saturday, September 9th, 2023 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am to pray for Africa and its children of the diaspora. The intercessory-prayer service will be held in front of the Washington Monument on the Smithsonian Mall.

As we face countless challenges, it is more important than ever to come together in solidarity and unite in prayer. Collective prayer is a powerful way to bring our African family together to seek GOD and ask for HIS guidance as we work collectively to effectuate positive changes for ourselves, our children, and our future generations. Let’s join in prayer as we seek YAHWEH OUR FATHER IN HEAVEN for our divine health, restoration, and direction.

All our activities will follow at the same location.

Let’s come together and share our strength, love, and joy as we unite!

Mark your calendars, spread the word, and join us for a day of celebration and triumph over adversity.

We Are Children of Africa

The world stays curious about who we are, what we are, and what gifts, treasures, and talents we possess:-

We are the essence of YAHWEH’s creation. GOD molded us from dust, and into our nostrils HIS breath gave life. Beautifully and wonderfully made, all the shades of us, perfect in every form. Our mere existence cause the earth to rejoice.

YES, We Are Children Of Africa!

THIS GATHERING IS TO CELEBRATE:

  • YAHWEH, OUR FATHER IN HEAVEN

  • REPENT FROM OUR SINS AND TURN BACK TO THE COMMANDMENTS OF OUR GOD, YAHWEH

  • CELEBRATE OUR AUTHENTIC GOD-CENTERED AFRICAN SELVES

  • CELEBRATE EACH OTHER

  • PRAY FOR OURSELVES, OUR FAMILIES, OUR COMMUNITIES, OUR COUNTRIES, OUR CONTINENT AFRICA, AND OUR WORLD

  • OUR WALK WITH YAHWEH OUR GOD IN HEAVEN, JESHUA JESUS OUR MESSIAH, WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT AS OUR GUIDE.

  • THE LIFE GOD HAS COMMANDED US TO LIVE, ABIDING IN HIS WILL

As Marcus Garvey once said, "A person without knowledge of his or her past is like a tree without roots. It will perish." Let's ensure that we stay connected to our cultural roots and celebrate the incredible legacy passed down to us by our forefathers and mothers.
